According to Ford and D’ Amelio when the resistance of change happens, leaders should think the resistance over and over again. The mainstream of considering resistance is to take the perspective of change leaders, regard change leaders and their plans of change as rational thing, and view resistance as irrational. Actually in a more positive sense, the resistance of change can play a positive role in changing. It promotes change leaders to modify the weaknesses and limitations in the change plan, in this way the change can utmost exert its good influences. When leaders value resistance, they cannot consider it in a totally negative aspect, and instead they should take a neutral point of view to deal with it (Kotter & Cohen, 2002). Changing in management needs leaders’ confidence in their capabilities, and leaders also should be willing to take risks, because not every change will turn out to be a success. Revolutions and reforms should be carried out in the right timing, when the opportunity comes, they need to seize it. All the things are mature, then the detailed plans should be implemented in every unit, and make things happen. These steps may make the change come into being in a real sense. Compared with change, the status quo of management will be threatened by change, and uncertainties make it anxious, so it embraces predictability rather than uncertainty. Then the latter will avoid or even discourage the change which creates creativities and innovations. Change leaders should not only realize the change plan for improving the performance but also carefully deal with resistance
