In the new era organizations are increasingly relying on its human resources, because the right kind of people having the desired talent and experience could do miracles for the organization (Gratton, 1998). However, the absence of the desired talent could lead towards different problems and most of the problems that M&S has experienced during the recent past could be attributed to the organization's ignorance of getting the right people having the desired skills and capabilities to take the organization towards new heights (Losey, 2005). During the period when the organization was going through the transition as a result of the change management strategy that the management implemented during the turn of the century, as the HR within the organization was neglected that in turn created problems for the organization in the form of poorly implemented change management strategy (Mellahi et al., 2002). In order to accomplish its lost-market leadership in the clothing and food business M&S need to assign key role to its HR. For this purpose the following set of recommendations are presented to the management of the organization.
