Therefore, though the new curriculum policy 2005-2009 is intended to prepare upper secondary school students in advance for selecting the choice of major at higher education and future career, they find it confusing of selecting subject choice at Upper Secondary schools and choosing major at universities. This problem is very contrastive to the purpose of the new proposed curriculum.
